course presents the fundamental principles of accounting, financial
statements, accounting information as the basis
for decision making and an overview of accounting within an
international framework.
Practical examples are employed to give the
participants a “hands on” view, and the course culminates in the
interpretation and analysis of a set of
consolidated group accounts.
As the overall objective of the course is to provide participants with
an insight into “reading” a set of accounts,
the seminar is ideal for managers (at all levels), and business owners
(who require an understanding of management
accounting).
