BA in Marketing
Programme Information
Students undertake a three year staged programme which culminates in a
Bachelor in Marketing. At each stage, students can choose to progress
to the next year of their studies at GBCM or graduate with an
internationally recognised qualification. This option to graduate
after years one and two provides flexibility for those students who
may not want to commit initially to a three year degree programme, who
may want to take time out to work during their studies or who wish to
change the location of study after a certain period of time
(transferring their credits to selected colleges in over 30 countries
world wide).

In year one
students gain an understanding of key business areas such as
marketing, finance, accounting, management and research. Courses are
conducted on a full time basis over two semesters. Upon successful
completion, students are awarded a Higher National Certificate in
Business which is accredited by
Edexcel.
In the
second year of study, students broadened their business knowledge by
studying diverse subjects such as marketing planning, operations,
entrepreneurship and management accounting. Upon successful completion
of year two, students are awarded a Higher National Diploma in
Business which is accredited by
Edexcel.
In the third
year, students explore areas such as Business Policy, European Business
and Trade, Strategic Marketing Management, Marketing Communications,
Creativity, Innovation & Enterprise in Marketing and International
Marketing. Upon successful completion of the programme, students are
awarded a Bachelor in Marketing
by Griffith College in Ireland. This
degree, which is accredited by HETAC
(the accrediting body of the Irish government) is designed to provide
students with a rich, holistic perspective of business and marketing.
