2008 Industrial Trip to Paris

The Industrial Trip for the Fall, 2008 semester took the Globe Business College to Paris, one of the major business centres of Europe, from the 4th to the 7th of December.
Students and lecturers were invited to visit two key financial institutions to learn all about the world of high finance. On Friday morning, a partner from Goetzpartners Corporate Finance provided a riveting presentation on the business of mergers and acquisitions within the media industry in France. In the afternoon, the group was invited to Citibank France, where a senior trader within the Corporate Foreign Exchange provided an insider's view of foreign trading practices within global markets, including a tour of the trading room.
The rest of the weekend was filled with sightseeing, exquisite meals and shopping amid the stunning Christmas lights of the French capital.
