CEEMAN CONFERENCE 2008
29th October, 2008
Roman Kotlarzewski, one of the GBCM directors, attended the CEEMAN (Central and
Eastern European Management Development Association) Conference in Tirana, Albania
from September 26th to the 28th.
The general theme of the 16th annual conference (which was hosted by the Albanian Center
for Management Services in Tirana) was “Management Education for the Realities of
Emerging Markets”.
Prominent speakers from the region and beyond addressed emerging market issues, including
Charles Handy (one of the world’s leading management thinkers and social philosophers),
Jozefina Topalli (Speaker of the Albanian Parliament) and Erhard Busek (former Vice-Chancellor of Austria and Special Coordinator of Stability Pact for South-East Europe). As
the pictures indicate the event was not only interesting but also provided great networking
opportunities.
