Industrial Visits > Guest Lecture Event at the BMW Group Guest Lecture Event at the BMW Group 13 November, 2007 As part of our ongoing “Guest Lecture” series the students and faculty of GBCM will attend an event at the BMW Show Room, Dachauerstrasse 92 in München on November 13th, 2007 at 7pm. Mr. Jörg Dohmen (MINI Brand Strategy and Marketing Planning) will hold a 2 hour presentation on the Success Story of the brand MINI. He will also have a Q&A session afterwards. BMW Group is a car and motorcycle manufacturer with headquarters in Munich. They bought MINI in 1994 as part of the Rover Group and made it its’ own brand. The “new” MINI was developed under the authority and supervision of the BMW Group. The original MINI was produced from 1959 to 2000 before the new MINI hit the streets in 2001.
