The Bachelor degree at GBCM is accredited by HETAC (www.hetac.ie), the qualifications accrediting body for third-level educational institutions in Ireland. The body, which is an Irish governmental institution, is responsible for setting standards, accrediting programmes and awarding qualifications at all levels of Irish higher education.

As state qualifications of a European Member state country, HETAC degrees are recognised internationally. To this end, the bachelor degree offered at GBCM has been awarded acceptance in the state of Bavaria. This means that students who qualify with this degree are treated the same as students who graduate from the state third level system in Bavaria (in so far as they have the same career opportunities and are eligible for Master programmes both in Germany and all over the world).
