idmatrix
was started in October 2000 as a program of the i2 Foundation and
achieved status as an independent non-profit organisation in February
2004. The fundamental
objective of Aidmatrix is to link aid with need worldwide (Right Aid to
the Right People at the Right Time™). In achieving this, the company
provides technologically based solution tools to connect those who have,
with those in need. Aidmatrix works with more than 35,000 not for profit
organisations, companies and government agencies worldwide and mobilizes
more than $1.5 billion (USD)
in aid annually.
Through the collaboration with Aidmatrix, the Globe Business College
Munich encourages its students to be involved in social activities
across the globe. Through project work that is part of the business
ethics course, students come together to generate financial and product
resources to assist particular groups in need. This support is
co-ordinated through the
GBCM Virtual Aid Drive. |
